Information
Located near the peaceful town of Curubandé in the province of Guanacaste, at the foot of the Rincon de la Vieja volcano. On this tour we will hike along the Rio Blanco. The Rio Blanco flows into the La Leona waterfall. The volcanic water has a high concentration of minerals. This gives the water a striking turquoise colour that is unique to Guanacaste.

We will travel through canyons and caves. We will enter the water several times as it is the only way to get there. Your hard work will be rewarded when you reach the spectacular La Leona waterfall. Hidden deep in the dense jungle. This is one of the best kept secrets in Costa Rica.

You should have a moderate level of fitness and health for this trip as the walking is more like canyoning at times, but this makes for a great adventure.
